This is a handmade original drawing using archival pigment ink and colored pencils on Strathmore Bristol vellum paper (acid free 100lb).

ALTERNATE IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

This drawing depicts a feminine face smoking a cigarette that is being kicked by a figure held in a hand in the bottom left corner. There is a crushed beer can on the top left and an unmade bed in the bottom right, underneath power lines. Brightly colored red, green, blue, and yellow scribbles fill the figures and background. 

 

This piece is a nod to the tendency to use unhealthy coping mechanisms to deal with feelings of isolation and purposelessness.
